THE CLIMATE CRISIS
Climate change is the crisis of our time and it is happening even more quickly than we feared. Billions of tons of toxic CO2 are released into the atmosphere every year and humans are producing greenhouse gas emissions at record highs as a result of farming, deforestation, coal oil, and gas production. This is dangerously affecting our present and future livelihood, fueling environmental degradation, natural disasters, weather extremes, food and water insecurity, and economic disruption worldwide.
WHY TREES
To help battle global warming, companies around the world are expected to spend billions of dollars over the next decade building devices aimed at sucking carbon from the atmosphere. Meanwhile Mother Nature already made one! Trees are the most efficient carbon capture technology on the planet. Trees help to clean the air we breathe through their leaves and bark as they absorb harmful pollutants and release clean oxygen for us to breathe.

Deforestation is destabilizing the planet on a scale unseen in human history. Each year we lose 15 billion trees.
